Mission: The Office of Human Resources, a part of the Division of Administrative and Financial Services, is dedicated to providing excellent service and creating programs to support the vision and mission of USF St. Petersburg.

The HR Team is a committed one, striving to provide an environment that leads to employee satisfaction and commitment to the institution.

Human Resources facilitates the following functions:

Recruitment of New Employees (assistance with development of job descriptions, advertisements, and screening, and qualifying)
Classification – establishing, reclassifying, and updating job descriptions
Hiring of New Employees - pre-employment paperwork and processing
Benefits Orientation of New Employees – USF offers a generous leave, insurance & retirement programs
Administration of Employee Benefits - health, life, disability, retirement, leave,
Employee Workshops and Training – a variety of training is offered regularly
Recognition Programs – Outstanding Employee Program, Length of Service, USF Outstanding Staff Award, Employee of the Month
Separating Employees – exit interviews, leave cash-outs, parking decals
